What on Earth????
Anyone who read Lonely Planet maybe surprise with the revelation or.. rather the so-called tell-all memoir, by one Mr Thomas Kohnstamm..... about the "parties" they, the travellers have... Excuse me, but I think if people like him is not too keen on the real travel, they should have just leave travelling out of their life agenda... and maybe do something useful with their life???
Anyway, I have heard of Lonely Planet but have never have the chance to read any of the articles for a simple reason, no money... So, I usually read other travel articles or documentaries about places which I could get my hands on,... just to satiate my curiousity about places and travelling.... See, I've actually been thinking about going travelling for a long time...since school days...before I heard about Lonely Planet to be precise... So, I thought, maybe I should actually buck up and study to get a degree, so that someday I could go out, travel and do social work at the same time... Doing the two things I've always cherished in my heart to do...
Sigh....., those fellas who are fortunate enough to travel, well if you think that travelling means making big bucks.... buzz off.... kay...., this Thomas' excuse bout not earning enough to cover the travel expenses... Well, I thought travelling means money coming out of your own pockets... HULLO!!! If you don't have enough to travel... don't... if you think Lonely Planet shortchanges you.... sue them!!!! Or just don't sign the contract with them... go elsewhere...
What on earth am I doing here writing about this nonsense.... then again... What On Earth Am I Doing HERE????
