When it comes to making decisions, many a time we tended to rely on our own logic and intelligence. The results may or may not be what we actually wanted.
Thing is, humans hardly make decisions according to what the Creator planned. If we had, there will be less heart-break, more fruitful life, instead of the constant bickering and blaming in which we participated in. When our lives are on the high of the life roller-coaster, we concluded that our decisions are right, we are smart. However, when it's at the lower-end of the spectrum, we pointed to the Creator, calling it fate.
In any case, I found that reading the Bible encourages me a lot. While some people could not find in themselves to understand the Book of Job, that happens to be one of my favourite. For me, it talks about how we as humans, should never even think of controlling God, for He alone, has the right to dictate everything. The Lord, my God, does not follow what I say. It should always be the other way round. When I pray, I pray according to His will and purpose, not my own plans. Even when I pray for my plans, I realised at the end of the day that God is in control. I may not get things according to my whims and fancy, but ultimately, it would be for my greatest benefits, that I should not have them, but have something else. Thank You, Lord, for having me in Your mind and caring for me at all times. AMEN.
