Wah liao eh.... They are sending a convoy to London to get an opinion from a QC. Whatever happens to other forms of communication such as telephone or the e-mail (internet lah, I mean). But no, they have to fly to London in a whole group (judging by the people they are taking, seems to me like a pretty big group).
The question is, I thought the suggestion to have a fresh state by-election was to prevent the usage of money. I guess their going to London is on taxpayer's money, otherwise they should proof that they did not get from the government's coffers, state or federal.
I wonder if they remembered that a few years back, it was the BN people who said that QC does not know about Malaysian laws. And now, they are actually going to seek opinion from the people who are so-called do not know our law?, not cheap considering you have a whole bunch of them going there. Sigh!! Should have join them years back, then maybe I'd get the opportunity to travel FOC :-)
Another thing is why was the opinion of Bar Council overlooked? Oops, cause it's not agreeable with their line of thoughts, perhaps? But then, isn't opinion supposed to be objective without siding with any particular party?
Oh, by the way, how would the people know the actual outcome of the QC's opinion when it was just between the group and the QC (I think). Would they announced it even if the QC opined that the Speaker's decision is within the constitution? Or would they say something quite different from the QC's opinion, expecting nobody else in this world to know? This is food for thought, aint it?
