Today the new MB for Perak has been sworned-in in the midst of protest and unhappiness from various folks, those who felt that a fresh election should be called and also from supporters of the Pakatan Rakyat coalition. Thus, there are now 2 MBs in Perak, one who has just been sworned-in, Dr Zambry and the other one is Ir Nizar, who refused to resigned as he believe that Pakatan Rakyat, holding seats at 28 against BN 28 and 3 from the independents, still have a chance to take back the governance right of the state. As for me, I'm just totally unhappy at the way the events unfold, and truth to be told, smell something fishy in the whole thing but mostly, I'm really angry with that (HEE) woman. As a representative picked by your party to run in a seat, and subsequently chosen by the people, do you honestly think you have the right to just jump off like that, just because (if what they said is true) you're not in good terms with your party members? Excuse me, but party problem should be solved behind party's door. Anyway, judging by the way you answer A today, B the next day, you aren't really an honest person, so if nobody pity you if you fall one day, you have no one but yourself to be blamed.
Of course, I also have some other things to say here. DSAI, or anyone who read and can tell it to him, would you please honestly take this as a real lesson for yourself and stop instigating people to do anymore crossovers. Personally, I really admire Mr Karpal Singh and Mr Lim Kit Siang, and of course not forgetting Datuk Zaid, who had time and again, speak out against party-hopping. Thus, DSAI seemingly high ambition to get people to crossover most probably wanting to be a PM, must have cause these few people great uneasiness. I won't say the same about BN. After all, they've been there, done that - instigate party-hopping. Though, these are all politics, it's damaging to the reputation of the nation. As it is, Perak has received so much attention, people outside Perak would have assumed that there's a bloody war going on.
And at the other end of the world, the big nation called USA. Well, apparently their still very new President Obama is starting to play partisanship, eating on his own word to be inclusive and bipartisan. Someone please spit on his face to remind him about it. Anyway, he blamed the Republican for having cause so much defisit and so on and so forth, believing that stimulus package is the way to go. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the whole credit prosperity grind to a halt because of...too much stimulus in the economy. In fact, there's no stopping it at a point in time that people probably believe that borrowing money is the way to get rich and real estate prices keep shooting up!!! But like the real economists would say, what goes up must come down!!!!... Thus, the credit crunch stories. As for GOP opting for tax-cut, where in the world do you get the cash to run the government and public service then? Tax-cut is good because it is perceived that it would encourage spending by the domestic market, thus improving the economy, as well as encouraged businesses to flourish as there would be more money in the tax-payers own pockets. This is mostly true, but the percentage of the tax-cut against the percentage spend by the people that will move the economic-wheel is seriously hard to calculate. This is especially so if the world economy is perceived in a pessimistic way by the people. Thus, most economists, to make work easier, stimulus package. (That is if it goes to the right pocket)
Maybe next, I might want to blog about the stimulus package in Malaysia!!!
